At a glance facebook seems like a very helpful website where one can reconnect with long lost friends, talk to family, network, etc. But some people just don’t know how to handle facebook drama. First of all Melanie Spanopoulos does not make a good impression from her facebook page listing some of her favorite activities are "getting drunk" and "speaking gibberish”. Melanie Spanopoulos clearly has a problem with violence, because a normal person will not run over a family member because of some guy they meet on facebook.
She also left her cousin on the street in the freezing cold, where other cars where passing by, that is just heartless, and when she got charged with assault her response was “This sucks” like if it was no big deal that her cousin is in the hospital because of her fault, this girl clearly has some growing up to do. If it had not been for the good Samaritan that helped Giselle Penagos who knows what her faith could have been.
It's sad that at the young age of 21 Spanopoulos already has a record, because of a boy she meet on facebook.

This story is definitely news worthy because it shows us how seriously some people take facebook, to go as far as assaulting your own cousin, over some friend request, it upsets me that these girls do not realize that there are a lot of guys out there and they should both let this one go because family comes first.
